Netiron MLX will not forward layer 2 traffic

I had an MLXe fully configured, but I could not get data to pass through the switch on a vlan. I did not have a router interface on the MLX, it was only being used as the access switch for this vlan. I did find that the vlan’s with router interfaces on the MLX did work.

I figured out that I needed the following command in global configuration mode.

no route-only

By default the NetIron MLX comes in router mode by default, or route-only mode. To get the layer 2 traffic to work, you have to tell it to allow it with this command.
